The Aero.Next Portugal Agenda aims to strengthen Portugal's position in the aeronautical value chain and consolidate the associated cluster by developing complete, complex, and high value-added products.

To achieve this, the initiative will ensure Portugal's leadership across the stages of design, development, industrialisation, and commercialisation, establishing the country as a significant decision-making hub in the aeronautics sector. This will reduce Portugal's reliance on external sources and generate strong ripple effects across the national economy.

To this end, the agenda brings together a wide range of entities with strong and complementary expertise in developing the aeronautical ecosystem. Its goal is to foster innovation, underpinned by a solid understanding of market demands and aligned with the paradigms of Digital Transition and Climate Transition.

It maximises existing assets within the country and promotes investment across multiple regions (NUTS2), with particular emphasis on the Alentejo region, generating positive impacts on territorial cohesion.
